Vossloh obtains a new order of 20 Metro untis of its series 4.300
Valencia 3rd of August 2006, on the 14th of October 2004 and the the 12th of May 2005, FGV purchased from Vossloh 10 + 10 units from the series 4.300, to give service on all its network, these units are being manufacturing at the factory of Albuixech and the first delivery will be made at the end of this year.The 18th of November 2005, FGV announced through an advertisement in the Official Bulletin of the European Community, a new tender to supply 20 metro units and the 20th of June has awarded Vossloh España the supplying of those 20 units to continue renovating Line 1.
The 20 units awarded, that are also of the series 4.300, will be fitted with the latest tecnological improvements, such as control by computer and traction equipment with IGBT.
The new units also have the lastest improvements on the assistance systems in driving and maintenance, as they offer the driver information about incidents and recommended actions, through the connection with the computer, as well as the historical information necessary for maintenance.
The 20 units purchased by FGV have a build in information system, automatic coupling, independent air conditioning equipments for the cabin and for the passengers compartments, possibilities of multiple traction, black box, radio equipment train-earth, FAP and ATP, as well as video vigilance equipment and pre-installation of a fire detection equipment and improvements in soundproofing of the coaches.
Vossloh España, expects to increase during this year the number of orders, thanks to the success that its products are having in the international market and the wonderful expectations based on the new products that will be presented next September at the InnoTrans Fair in Berlin, Germany.
